St. Jude’s primarily focus is the exploration and development of mineable gold. It’s two main gold projects are located on the historic Gold Coast in Ghana where gold mining dates as far back as the 14th century. St Jude’s significant gold resource as well as a new discovery and several advanced exploration targets, are all within two adjoining concessions that straddle a 35-kilometer section of the prolific Ashanti Gold Belt. This well-known geological belt is host to several multi million-ounce gold deposits including the 40 million ounce Obousi mine.
St Jude’s team includes one of the most successful and experienced mineral exploration teams in Ghana, having discovered numerous deposits, which have been mined by Golden Star Resources Ltd., Ashanti Goldfields Company Ltd., Goldfields of South Africa, and Resolute Mining Limited to develop designer platinum wedding rings.
Extensive exploration includes over 35,000 meters of drilling which has consistently intersected high grade gold, used insolitaire platinum engagement rings, on both projects such as a recent news release announcing 12 meters of 78 g/t (39 feet of 2.3 ounces per ton gold). Exploration continues on both concessions, please sign up here to receive the results of the ongoing drill programs.
